Troop 186 is a parent-chartered* Boy Scout troop in Seattle, Washington.

The troop meets most Mondays during the school year at Laurelhurst Elementary school in northeast Seattle.  We often meet in other locations depending on the meeting activity, so check the calendar.

In keeping with our Troop’s longstanding history and tradition, and consistent with the policies of the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 186 welcomes all Scouts to join our Troop without regard to race, color, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, citizenship status or disability status. Troop 186 selects its adult leaders using the same standard of inclusiveness.

*Parent-chartered means that the parents of the scouts are the troop's sponsoring organization, rather than a school or church or Rotary etc.

About This Website

This new website is the work of T186 scout Erik Pratt, who did the work as a Position of Responsibility for his Star rank. We are currently in beta and some features may be missing or unavailable. If something is wrong with the content, it is probably not his fault, as he does not facilitate the content on this website, only the layout. If you are having trouble, or have suggestions, let Brian and Erik know.
